The Feast of the Seven Fishes

This southern Italian feast is traditionally celebrated on Christmas Eve. It stems from the observance of the Cena della Vigilia.

We open today’s show with a 4th century European Christmas folktale–‘The Holly Tree’–that has survived & been carried into Appalachia.
