		<description><![CDATA[Thank you for posting this article.  I am a good friend of David Thompson and read his book, &quot;River of Memories&quot; which I highly recommend.  It brought back many memories of my own boyhood because my father&#039;s family lived on Beech Fork near Racoon Creek and Bowen Creek and my mom&#039;s lived in Lincoln County just a few miles from Salt Rock and over the hill from Bowen Creek.  Family names mentioned in this article are very familiar.  I was born in the 30&#039;s, but too young to remember the school bus trips.]]></description>
