Nice article. Just wanted to let you know that the word for ‘musical saw player’ is ‘sawist’ (not ‘sawyer’). ‘Sawyer’ is a person whose profession is to cut wood for fireplaces (popular occupancy in South Carolina in the days immediately post slavery).
