Dave, I have been a 'local history' fanatic since childhood and in researching a term paper for my college history class (in my own version of Grammy goes to college) I came across a couple of posts about Skyland, which is what I am writng about-the beginnings of the Shenandoah National Park and how it impacted the local population both short and long term. 94 acres was taken from my great-grandfather's farm for the park so it's a subject near to my heart having heard my Gram tell the stories for years. I would like to correspond with you on the subject if you can find the time. Please contact me. Thanks!
