The Knacker Yard

Knackers take on the task of killing sick or maimed farm animals. This one thins the human herd. His job is rudely interrupted in this tale.

Two tragic deaths put the Rock Run Furnace at the top of the list for most haunted places in Cherokee County, AL.

Every night it would come, causing many to call it the Moon Ghost, after a similar ghost that was haunting a nearby house owned by a Mr. Moon.

He drew Hell. He had agonized faces of poor sinners who were on fire. There were demons who were tormenting. This would go on for ETERNITY.

The public reaction to the Callihans’ claims may have been more painful to the family than the fear and destruction itself.
