“I believe the dam has burst!”

The Great Johnstown Flood of May 31, 1889 is remembered as the worst disaster by dam failure in American history.

They say that in watching the residence about 12 o’clock at night you will see a curious light gleam forth from the upstairs window.

Robert Ullom was unlucky around timber. When he cheated death in 1912, the car he was in careened around 3 horse drawn wagons hauling timber.

She started singing this hymn in front of the returned children. When Rebecca heard the tune, she recognized it & came running to her mother.

The mystery grew stranger still when some children made a ghastly discovery. Chained to a tree near the spring was the skeleton of an ox.
