The New Birth of Mount Tabor Church

Ray Wright, Curator of Historic Buildings at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton, VA, discusses moving the historic Mt. Tabor log church.

Congregants dropped their tithes into the steeple, and the sliding floor section made accessing the collection later on a snap.

Parishioners from nearby St. Mark’s Episcopal are taking an interest and have decided to try to restore this beautiful white frame church.
