The Sistersville Ferry

There are only four ferries left along the Ohio River. The Sisterville Ferry is the only one along the stretch that shares its border with WV.

These riddles, collected in the NC mountains, belong to a familiar pattern, the seemingly obscene question with an innocuous reply.

The Daily News-Digest of Beckley, WV was a tabloid published mornings, Monday through Friday. The first issue appeared April 9, 1952.
