He brought the deer back to North Georgia

It’s all too easy to forget that in the early part of the 20th century, there simply were no deer to be had in the northern part of Georgia.

I’d always been a tomboy and I’d always carried a knife, well sometimes. But, I had a scout knife. So, that’s where I got the nickname “Tom.”
