The salient feature of ramps is the smell

This is a diagram of the general life cycle of Allium tricoccum—ramps.

Harpe brothers killed at least 40 men, women & children on the frontier until a posse caught up & took the leader’s head on Aug. 24, 1799.

The chair acquired its color from a contribution of highway line paint from the adjacent State Highway Department lab. It was built in 1927.

During the 1920’s & early 1930’s, so many arrests and convictions were made by dry agents that the Allegany County Jail couldn’t hold them all.

They deliberated as to whether they should kill her or let her go, and finally fixed upon the latter course.
