The Rattlesnake’s Vengeance

They said that his own wife had killed their chief, Yellow Rattlesnake, & they were just now about to send Black Rattlesnake for revenge.

The Creator (E-do-da) had heard their prayers & songs & had given them a gift. The Cherokee kept these stone crosses and always honored them.

Don’t ever underestimate the size of a person or the looks of a person or the color of a person when he wants to join you.

Even today, strawberries are often kept in Cherokee homes. They remind us not to argue and are a symbol of good luck.

A secret tribe of Cherokees live either inside Pilot Mountain or in some hidden valley only reached by passing a concealed entrance.
