New Exhibit: The Civil War in Morgan County, AL

October 24, 2014 will see the grand opening of a new permanent exhibit at the Morgan County Archives: The Civil War in Morgan County, AL.

This 30th year exhibit spotlights the best of the Highlands Museum & Discovery Center’s collections, drawing from over 9,000 artifacts.

Manley “Doc” McClure (1900-1977) and Rev Moses Holland (1758-1829) join 28 prior inductees in SC’s Anderson County Museum Hall of Fame.

The Bowes Doll & Carriage Exhibit was 3 years in the making. Connie & Don Bowes share how they assembled their collection over a lifetime.

Cherokee County Historical Museum aims to make the people in the past alive to those in the present with this exhibit on local fashions.
