Sound comes to the photoplays

The Lincoln Theatre is completely and finely equipped for the reproduction of sound with the showing of its photoplays.

Sometimes the official stories that make it into museum collections just don’t shed enough light on the complete context of an event.

A widely celebrated instrument maker, musician & artist, his work can be found in the Smithsonian Institution & the NC Museum of History.

He would boil roots + leaves, and would strain away the particles. This was diluted with whiskey, and given to the victim to drink.

After their wedding, the Driskill’s settled on a farm & lived there till 1912, when they came to Ft Payne & bought out Jim Malone Restaurant.
